Tourism is an activity of traveling and visiting places by creating different styles of travelling and travelers. The Unique aspect of tourism as it creates demand for economies on global scale, more importantly for each country and even goes deeper in creating opportunities at city level and local level for various communities. Domestic tourism is where the all the states come out a bit more combatively, competing for a piece of the lucrative leisure or for money making and recreation segment. Domestic tourism encompasses a half of the tourists in British Columbia every each year. BC Stats and Destination BC considers the travelling beyond their normal and usual environment for business or for the pleasure to be the tourists. Tourism not only contributes towards more economic activities but also generates employment opportunities, revenues and even plays a significant role in development.
