It is a common term used for memory loss, language, problem-solving and other thinking abilities, which makes the daily activities problematic. Alzheimer’s is considered to be most common type of dementia. Dementia is an overall term used for a group of medical conditions such as Alzheimer’s, lewy body dementia, vascular dementia, frontotemporal dementia and others like Parkinson’s and Huntington’s.
