Cognition is a term refers to the process of thinking involved in gaining knowledge and comprehension. It is the identification of knowledge, of understanding it and perceiving it. The most common references of cognition can be found in psychology and philosophy. The cognitive processes include thinking, knowing, remembering, judging and problem-solving. These are higher level functions of the brain and encompass imagination, language, perception and planning.Other symptoms such as fatigue, anxiety, or depression can make your cognitive issues worse. Multiple sclerosis is a long-lasting disease that can affect brain, spinal cord, and the optic nerves in your eyes. It can cause problems with vision balance and muscle control other basic body functions.
