Tuberculosis (TB) continues to be a major concern for health workers. The number of reported extrapulmonary tuberculosis cases, in particular osteoarticular tuberculosis, is increasing. This fact is attributed to various factors such as the underestimation of the disease and the difficulty of diagnosis, which requires tissue sampling and can lead to a delay in diagnosis, and can lead to significant morbidity and mortality. The aim of this study was to highlight the difficulties and delays in the diagnosis of articular tuberculosis, increasing the need to raise awareness of the importance of early diagnosis to avoid the major complications of joint destruction
