Cancer In Medicine

Cancer is a disease which involves abnormal growth of cells with the potential to spread or invade to different parts of the body. Common symptoms of cancer include a lump, unexplained weight loss, prolonged cough, abnormal bleeding, and changes in bowel movements. More than 100 different forms of cancer affect humans. Use of Tobacco is the major cause of deaths with cancers about 22%. About 10% is attributed to poor diet, obesity, heavy alcohol consumption or Lack of physical activity. Most of the cancers can be prevented by maintaining a healthy weight, not smoking, not drinking too much alcohol, vaccination against various infectious diseases, eating plenty of  fruits, vegetables and whole grains, not eating too much processed  red meat and avoid too much exposure to sunlight.
