Autoimmune Diseases Journals

According to the reports available on 193 journals, 86 conferences are currently devoted exclusively to autoimmune diseases and about 15,631 articles are published on current trends in autoimmune diseases. In terms of annual research, the United States, India, Japan, Brazil and Canada are among the main countries where a maximum of proteomics-related studies are underway. As noted in the articles mentioned above, autoimmune diseases result from an abnormal immune response of the body against the substances and tissues normally found in the body. This may be limited to certain organs or involve specific tissue in different places. The treatment of autoimmune diseases is usually done by immunosuppression, a drug that decreases the immune response. A large number of autoimmune diseases are recognized. A major understanding of the underlying pathophysiology of autoimmune diseases has been the application of genome-wide association scans that have identified a striking degree of genetic sharing between autoimmune diseases.
