Applied Plant Genomics Open Access Journals

The term genomics  is a science that is defined by the technology. The first genomics technology that was firstly practiced on a large scale sequenced the 5′ ends of cDNAs, that produces expressed sequence tags i.e, ESTs. These ESTs provide a cost-effective and a rapid approach in order to describe the collection of genes which defines an organism. 
A main challenge in plant biology is the identification of genes which regulates and controls the novel characteristics that distinguishes the major crop plants from the botanical models. The recent process has been made in the application of genomics to crop plant improvement which is termed as applied plant genomics. Applied plant genomics Open Access Initiative is committed to make genuine and reliable contributions to the scientific community.
