Vesper Fe Marie Llaneza Ramos, MD is a neurologistintraining at Omaha, NE. She finished her medical school on full academic scholarship at the University of the Philippines Manila graduating Class Valedictorian and awarded as the most outstanding medical graduate of 2006. She is very much interested in the interface of ethics neurology and psychiatry. She believes that genetics research on this interface will explode in the coming years. She enjoys poetry and has had several poems published in both scientific and literary circles. She plans on subspecializing in movement disorders and dementia. Her special interest in genetics is on presymptomatic testing for neurodegenerative diseases as well as the hope for neuropharmacogenomics to provide specific treatments for these disabling diseases.
