Biography

T. S. Jang is a Professor of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at Pusan National University. He was granted a Ph. D in ocean engineering from the Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Seoul National University. He serves as an associate member of International Ship and Offshore Structures Congress (ISSC) and the chairman of The Korea Ship and Offshore Structures Congress (KSSC). And he also serves a variety of activities for the editorship of international journal and advisory committee of domestic/international academic societies and organizations. His R&D Interests and expertise are concerned with the measurements of the motion of the offshore structures, system identification (offshore structures), inverse problems for fluid mechanics, water waves, floating body mechanics and development of mathematical tool for nonlinear beam analysis. Finally, he is the author of about 40 articles including the papers on Int. J. Non-linear Mech., Wave Motion and Mech. Systems Signal Process., etc.
