Biography

Ms Pallabi Pati completed her Masters in Microbiology from Orissa university of agriculture and technology,Odisha ,India in 2007. During her master she completed her dissertation work under Dr K K Rout in the topic “Interaction effect of various fertilizers and amendments on the efficiency of Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhiza inoculated to Brinjal crop in an acid soil” and secured second prize(Chancellor Award) for the same. She remain engaged for brief time as quality control analyst at a beverages industry . In 2008 she Ispat general hospital at Rourkela, Odisha,India as Research associate where she was enganed in various projects funded from National Institute of Health, University of Maryland, European Commission and Ranbaxy. In 2011 she joined molecular biology lab of DR MR Ranjit at Regional Medical Research Centre,Bhubaneswar, Odisha as senior research fellow to develop LAMP protocol for detection of plasmodium species. She then started her doctoral thesis under Dr M R Ranjit and finished in year 2016. She is currently holding the position of District Microbiologist at District Headquarter Hospital, Sambalpur under Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme.
