Biography

Mark J. Atkinson is a Director of Health Economic and Outcomes Research and a Partner with PRO-Spectus Inc., San Diego, California; he also volunteers his time as a Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Family and Preventive Current Medicine, University of San Diego, San Diego, California, U.S.A. He has received a PhD in Philosophy from the Department of Educational Psychology, University of Calgary, Calgary, Alberta, Canada in, 1993. He completed a B.A (Honors) in Biology at the State University of New York University, White Plains, NY (1983). He currently serves as an editorial board member of two reputed journals, has 59 peer-reviewed publications (21 first authored), and serves as a reviewer for 12 journals.
