Biography

I have over 12 years of international teaching and research experience as an academic. I have held a variety of academic positions - in Japan, South Korea, China and Thailand - prior to joining the Nottingham Malaysia campus.

Research Interest

optics, electromagnetic waves, ferroelectric materials, and nanoelectronics. Modelling and theory of ferroelectriic materials including nonlinear interactions with electromagnetic waves and nanoscale structures. Theoretical expertise in understanding the properties of graphene and carbon nanotubes. 2 and 3 level models of quantum cascade lasers
