Biography

Cohen Tervaert studied Medicine at the University of Groningen where he obtained his MD in 1981. After training in Internal Medicine and Nephrology he finished his thesis cum laude in 1990 entitled "ANCA: new class of autoantibodies in glomerulonephritis and vasculitis". Subsequently, he worked as a research fellow in the Vascular Biology Department, Harvard Medical School Boston, USA

Glomerulonephritis, vasculitis, Immunology, Inflammation and auto-immunity of vascular disorders, such as atherosclerosis and the pathophysiology of ASIA
