    Review of Clinical therapies of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) during worldwide pandemic outbreak

    Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory tract infection caused by a novel coronavirus now called severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (2019- nCoV), which was first identified in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China on December 2019. It rapidly spread, resulting in an epidemic throughout China, followed by an increasing number of cases in other countries throughout the world. Transmission of COVID-19 is believed to occur via respiratory droplets from sneezing, coughing and if any one touches an infected surface and then touches his or her eyes, nose, or mouth. According to the WHO, the CDC, and the FDA, there are currently no medications or vaccines proven to be effective for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19.
