Biography

Winifred McGarry is a lecturer in Adult nursing at the University of the West of Scotland.She qualified as a Registered General Nurse and completed a BA in Nursing from the University of Strathclyde. she has completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education at Napier University and has an MSc in Advanced Health Studies. she was involved in a 3 year national Health Promotion public awareness campaign to raise the awareness of colorectal cancer with health professionals and members of the public in NHSL and NHSFV.
