Biography

I was born in Athens, Greece in 1968. I received my MD degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and my PhD degree from the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece. I completed my residency in Internal Medicine and my fellowship in Nephrology in Thessaloniki, Greece. I was also trained in Peritoneal Dialysis at the Toronto Western Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada under Dr D. Oreopoulos and in glomerular diseases at the Glomerular Center, Medical School, Columbia University, NY, USA under Dr G. Appel.
