Dr. Thierry Brigaud from the Laboratory of biological chemistry at University of Cergy-Pontoise.Dr. Thierry Brigaud is expertised in Amino Acids, Peptides, Organic Chemistry, Organic Synthesis, Synthetic Chemistry, Peptide Chemistry, Peptide Synthesis, Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Synthetic Medicinal Chemistry, Asymmetric Synthesis.

Research Interest

 Use oxazolidines trifluorométhylées (Fox) as chiral auxiliaries in asymmetric synthesis. Fluorinated building blocks chiral synthesis (amino acids, amino alcohols, diamines) from fluorinated oxazolidines (Fox). Development of new peptide coupling methods for the incorporation of α-amino-α-trifluoromethylated in peptide chains. Application to the synthesis of peptides of interest (peptaibols, peptides targeting the CNS mimics collagen, ...). Study of conformational constraints induced by the incorporation of pseudoprolines trifluorométhylées in peptide chains. Study of physico-chemical and biochemical properties of trifluoromethylated peptides (lipophilicity, pKa, protease resistance).
