Dr. Shenghan Lai is a professor of pathology, radiology, psychiatry, epidemiology and medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His research interests include infectious disease epidemiology, HIV prevention and intervention, cardiovascular consequences of HIV infection and cocaine abuse, disease disparities in minorities, subclinical atherosclerosis, drug abuse, statistical modeling and data mining.
Dr. Lai earned his M.D. from Peking Union Medical College, China. He also completed his M.P.H. at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.
He has more than 220 peer-reviewed publications and numerous book chapters.
