Biography

Dr.  Raafat Abd El-Gawad El-Gharib El-Awady is Head of Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacotherapeutics.He did his Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences in College of Pharmacy at Zagazig University, Egypt and Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences/ Pharmacology (“Chemosensitivity of certain tumour cell lines to topoisomerase inhibitors as determined by graded-field gel electrophoresis“) in College of Pharmacy at Cairo University, Egypt, PhD in Pharmacology(“Concept of DNA double-strand breaks induction and repair for radiosensitivity of human tumour cells”) at Cairo Hamburg University.

Research Interest

 His research interest is in Mechanisms of resistance to anticancer drugs, Regulation of DNA repair and cell cycle after anticancer drugs, Testing and biological characterization of potential anticancer agents.
