Biography

Dr Munyaradzi Madhombiro is a Consultant Psychiatrist who holds a MBCHB, DMH, and MMed Psychiatry from the University of Zimbabwe. He is also the current Chairperson of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Zimbabwe College of Health Sciences. Munyaradzi was partially supported by the African Mental Health Research Initiative (AMARI) for his PhD in Psychiatry which he did with Stellenbosch University. Munyaradzi’s research interest is alcohol and substance use comorbidities with HIV. His broad interests are about integration of mental health and physical conditions ultimately closing the mental health treatment gap.
