Molly McNett

Biography

 Molly McNett was appointed Director of Nursing Research for The MetroHealth System in 2009. As Director of Nursing Research, McNett oversees the development, implementation, and dissemination of nurse-led research and innovations throughout the hospital system. McNett mentors nursing staff in various clinical departments on research design and methods to address specific aspects of patient and organizational outcomes. McNett also continues to advance her own program of research in neuro-trauma and neuro-critical care nursing. Prior to her tenure as Director of Nursing Research, McNett worked as research coordinator and senior nurse researcher for MetroHealth. Previous clinical nursing positions include trauma critical/care nursing, and medical/surgical critical care. McNett  received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Marquette University, and both her Masters and PhD in Nursing from Kent State University.
