Dr. Mohd Basyaruddin Abdul Rahman, is a Chemist, graduated with a Double Major of B. Sc (Hons.) in Chemistry and Computer Science (1995), and received his Ph.D in Catalysis Chemistry (1999) at the University of Southampton, England. Currently, he is leader of more than 10 research projects with grants from Malaysia and international bodies, including several ‘top down’ national projects. He has published more than 200 papers in cited journals and proceedings. He also has patented more than 10 patents internationally.
