Dr. Mingfeng Yu completed his PhD in organic chemistry at the University of Sydney under the supervision of Professors Matthew H. Todd and Peter J. Rutledge in 2013. His PhD research entailed the design, synthesis and evaluation of novel scorpionand metal-cyclam complexes appended with biologically-active motifs. He was appointed as a Research Fellow (Medicinal Chemistry) at the University of South Australia upon completion of his PhD. Under the guidance of Professor Shudong Wang, he is currently involved in the discovery and development of novel protein kinase inhibitors for cancer therapy.
