Biography

Mia Berglund's research focuses on how people learn to live with long-term illnesses and how this learning can be supported. Mia Berglund has developed a didactic model: The challenge – to take control of one’s life with long-term illness. The model are implemented and evaluated in different care contexts. The model are also used in a project in which health care providers are trained to support older people with long-term pain through Reflective STRENGTH-giving dialogue. Mia's research also involves students, teachers and health care providers learning.
