Dr. Marcus Stoodley graduated with honours from medical school at the University of Queensland and went on to train in neurosurgery in Perth and Adelaide. In 1999 he worked at the University of New South Wales and The Prince of Wales Hospital, where he established an area-wide vascular neurosurgery service and a neurosurgery research laboratory. In 2008 Professor Stoodley joined Macquarie University and moved his clinic and research laboratory to the Australian School of Advanced Medicine in 2010.
