He is a Associate Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine , Assiut University Hospital, Egypt. He received a Doctoral Degree (MD) in Medicine. His research interests, as a Associate Professor lie in Metabolic syndrome, Obesity, Insulin resistance, Endocrinology. As a Associate Professor, he is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of research.
