Biography

Ms Kulveen Trehan did Masters in Mass Communication from Punjab University, Chandigarh. After working in the advertising agencies in the creative department, she joined SD Kanya Mahvidhalaya as Lecturer in Communication Studies. In 2003, she joined as Lecturer in Journalism and Mass Communication, IMS, Noida. She was working as Sr. Lecturer at Madhubala Institute of Communication and Electronic Media till September 2008 before joining as Lecturer, the then Center For Media Studies, GGSIP University .

In all, she has a teaching experience of more than seven years. Besides teaching, she has been the editorial member of the monthly magazine, Punjab Truth; has written cover stories for e-newspaper punjabnewsline.com and specialised articles on advertising and integrated marketing communication for the web portal ihaveanidea.org. She has presented research papers in national seminars and has been invited for extension lectures and workshops in various colleges in Delhi and Punjab. She has also published research papers in reputed national and international journals.

Research Interest

Kulveen Trehan area of interest is in the field of The media and the urban, mass communication research, research on insecurity,trust research and social science risk research.
