Joseph Katz completed his D.M.D. from Hebrew University and Hadassah School of Dental Medicine, Jerusalem, Israel,1981. his major intreasts of research include Oral Medicine and Pathology. Markers for early detection of Oral Cancer. The Oral systemic connection mainly periodontal disease and preterm delivery. Inflammatory responses and signal transduction in oral diseases. The research of salivary gland diseases with focus on cytokines and growth factors. Signaling of the receptor for advanced glycation product (RAGE).
