Jesús Arenas-Alatorre

Biography

 Researcher A of the Institute of Physics of the UNAM. He holds a bachelor's degree in Physics and a Master's Degree in Materials Science from the Faculty of Sciences of UNAM, and a PhD in Materials Physics from CICESE. He has had research stays in the microscopy laboratory of Argonne National Laboratory. He was researcher of the National Institute of Nuclear Investigations (ININ) during the period 1995-1997. From 1997 to 2002, he was head of the Department of Synthesis and Characterization of ININ materials. From 2003 to 2006 he was responsible for linking the Central Laboratory of Microscopy of IFUNAM and from 2008 to 2011 he was in charge of the same laboratory. He is currently the head of the Department of Condensed Matter of IFUNAM. He is a member of the National System of Researchers Level I
