Jan Johansson Hanse

Biography

 Jan Johansson Hanse comes from the University of Gothenburg, where he since 2009 is professor in psychology at the Department of Psychology. He received his doctorate in psychology at the University of Gothenburg 1994, became an associate professor in psychology 1999 and assessed professor qualifications in work organization 2006. In his thesis he studied psychosocial environment and musculoskeletal symptoms. His current research is in areas such as employment and health, efficiency (lean production) in health care, municipal universal parenting programs, and ageing, work and health. He has many years of experience from teaching and tutoring in areas such as psychosocial environment and health, leadership, organization, and research methodology.  Jan Johansson Hanse is since 2012 professor in public health at the Nordic School of Public Health NHV.
