Ingo Böbel, Dr.rer.pol., Dr.rer.pol.habil., is the Professor of Economics at the International University of Monaco. He is an Affiliate Faculty for the MOC course at Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness, Harvard Business School. Dr. Böbel began his extensive career as a professor in 1974. He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University Erlangen- Nuremberg, Germany until 1978, the year when he received his Ph. D. His mentor at the University in Nuremberg was Professor Dr. Manfred Neumann.
His research interest is in empirical studies in the areas of International Corporate Finance, Market Efficiency, Capital/Ownership structure, and Equity Offerings. Specifically, my focus is on Canadian firms listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
