Biography
Chen Hongyuan's main research fields include: biomimetic bio-electrochemistry and bio-sensors including enzymes, proteins, DNA and others, ultramolecular self-assembly and ultramolecular-electrochemistry. His research achievements include a 1995 study on the fundamental applications of microelectrodes as a new technique and a study on the electron transfer and the interfacial behaviors of some important biological substances, which resulted in the Advanced Achievement Award in Science and Technology from the Education Ministry of China.
