Professor Henry E. Young received his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in the field of Anatomy and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Carbohydrate Biochemistry at Case Western Reserve University. Currently, he is working as a tenured Full Professor at Mercer University School of Medicine (MUSM) in Macon Georgia. He is both a teacher and a researcher. He has taught Human Embryology and Human Gross Anatomy for 26 years at MUSM. His primary research interests concern the utilization of adult stem cells in tissue replacement and repair.
