Dr. Deanna Grimes, the Suzie Conway Endowed Professor, is head of the Division of Community Health Nursing in the Department of Nursing Systems. She also has coordinated the dual degree MSN-MPH program between the School of Nursing and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Public Health since 1993. During Grimes’ 37 years at UTHealth, she has taught in the BSN, MSN, PhD, DNP, and MSN-MPH programs.
