Biography

Bishnupada Roy is currently working as an eminent Faculty member at Department of Zoology in INDIA. He has published numerous research papers and articles in reputed journals and has various other achievements in the related studies. He has extended his/her valuable service towards the scientific community with his extensive research work.

Research Interest

Described 3 new species of helminth parasites of economic importance and also discovered a new technique for processing of soft biological materials for electron microscopy.
Described surface fine topography, an interface between host and parasite of more than 30 different species of helminth.
Current research interest include chemotherapy of parasitic infection involving traditionally used medicinal plants in North-East India.
