Biography

As healthcare providers grapple with shrinking revenue sources and the effects of widespread consolidation and collaboration, Ben's clients value his expertise in revenue cycle optimization. The leader of ECG's Revenue Cycle practice, Ben assists health systems across the country in evaluating, optimizing, and improving their revenue cycle to support enhanced financial performance and operational alignment. He is also an expert on the operational and regulatory requirements for transitioning from freestanding to provider-based billing designation, and he has helped numerous organizations with this conversion process. Prior to becoming a member of our firm, Ben worked with a large multi-provider clinic, where he helped manage billing operations. While there, he also assisted with the implementation of a new practice management software system and developed the subsequent policies and procedures pertaining to the revenue cycle process.
