Biography
Dr. Nilay Kanti Barman holds an M.A. in Geography and a Ph.D. Dr. Nilay Kanti Barman is an Assistant Professor in Geography at the Midnapore College. He is now working on coastal hazards and their impacts on coastal geomorphology and the coastal environment on the Indian east coast with sophisticated software, namely the "Coastal Modeling System". At the same time, he is also working on climate change and its present trends.
