Biography
Bakri Mat (Ph.D.) is currently an Associate Professor and the Head of the International Affairs Department, at the School of International Studies, Universiti Utara Malaysia. He has been with UUM for more than 19 years (since 2001). In his academic experience, he actively engages in teaching, research, publication, and conferences. His research interest covers issues such as national security issues, international conflicts, non-traditional security issues [i.e. terrorism, food security, cyber security).
