Dr. Asa C. Black, Jr., is an exceptional educator on the subject of the human body, with more than 40 years of teaching medical students gross human anatomy and neuroanatomy, Dr. Black began his teaching career at Vanderbilt University. He has taught at five medical schools to date, including three start-up institutions. He held a postdoctoral fellowship in neuroanatomy at the University of Iowa Department of Anatomy, where he obtained his initial faculty position.
