Anne Evans received her doctorate in chemistry from the University of Virginia where she researched biological mass spectrometric detection of protein and peptides. Choosing to focus on industry over academia, Evans joined Metabolon, Inc where she has worked for over eight years, developing and expanding their commercial global metabolic profiling technology. Her research and development has dramatically improved the analytical quality, reducing process variability, providing higher confidence identifications, and increasing the number of detected metabolites.
