Biography

Dr. Anna Sanchez Calle specialized in oncology research in the areas of cancer stem cells and tumor relapse. Anna Sanchez's primary goal is to prevent the re-occurrence of a second tumor and assure that patients remain cancer-free. Anna Sanchez identify novel biomarkers that predict the risk of relapse and work on the sensitization of therapy-resistant cancer cells. Her hope is that cancer becomes a readily treatable disease. Currently she is working as Research Assistant at Okayama University.
