Biography

 Professor Isaac Adeyemi Adeleye who was appointed a Professor of the University of Lagos in 2009 has supervised over 100 undergraduate and postgraduate students. Outside the University, Professor Adeleye served as member of National Task force on Economic Utilization of Water Hyacinth in 1992 and lecturer at the Delta State University, Abraka where he was the Head of Microbiology Department in 1994.

Research Interest

 HIV and co-infections; Antimicrobial Drug Resistance; Novel Antimicrobial Compounds from Marine Algae and Actinomycetes; endphytic fungi and molecular characterization of virulence genes in Helicobacter pylori.
