Biography

Dr. Yuanyuan Duan, a dental materials scientist and prosthodontics specialist, joined the Medical Center faculty in 2014 as an assistant professor of biomedical materials science in the School of Dentistry. After receiving her dental degree from the Fourth Military Medical University, China, in 2002, Duan earned the master's degree in 2004 and the Ph.D. in 2007, both in prosthodontics, at the Fourth Military Medical University. After graduation, Duan worked as a prosthodontist and faculty member at the Fourth Military Medical University School of Dentistry. She then completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Department of Biomedical Materials Science at the Medical Center in 2014.
