Biography

Sina Khorasani was born in Tehran, Iran, on November 25, 1975. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Abadan Institute of Technology, in 1995, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, in 1996 and 2001, respectively. He is now a Professor of Electrical Engineering with the School of Electrical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology. He has been with School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology as a Postdoctoral (2002-2004) and Research Fellow (2011-2012). His active research areas include quantum optics and photonics, and quantum electronics. Dr. Khorasani is a Senior Member of IEEE.
