Biography

Dr. Safwat Abouhashem awarded his primary medical degree in 1998 and completed the master degree in general surgery in 2003 and has received his doctorate degree in neurosurgical practice from zagazig University and completed his training on 2009 . Dr. Abouhashem has successfully completed his diploma in health profession education from Suez Canal University Currently, he is working as lecturer and neurosurgery consultant in zagazig University and kingdom hospital. He has appointed as neurosurgery program coordinator in his university He is a member of Egyptian society of neurological surgery, AO Spine international, Egyptian spine society, Dandy neurosurgical association and Member in the WFNS young neurosurgery forum committee He is serving as Reviewer for journals like the journal of neurosurgery in rural practice and the Journal of Clinical Trial and zagazig medical journal He is interesting in the neurosurgical education and research and His primary research interests include cerebrovascular diseases and traumatic brain injury.
