Biography

Dr Esther Uña Cidon has received his PhD in Valladolid University during the period of 2008-2009. Currently, she is working as Specialist in Medical Oncology in Royal Bournemouth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Her research has included projects to investigate tumoral markers in gastrointestinal tumors, follow-up strategies in different gastrointestinal cancers and cost-effectiveness studies. Based on this research and fellowship training she has received several awards and honors, such as: Spanish National Professor Barea Awards several times, “Who’s who in the world” nominations, “Who’s is who in Medicine and Healthcare”, etc. She is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Journal of Solid Tumors, US-China Medical Science, World Journal of Hepatology & expert Reviewers for journals like Cancer Informatics, Clinical Medicine Insights: Oncology, Cancer Management and Research, ClinicoEconomics and Outcomes Research, Journal of Pharmacy Practice, Gastrointestinal Cancer: Targets and Therapy, Risk Management and Healthcare Policy. She has authored more than 70 research articles/books. She is a member of the International Who’s who Historical Society since 2011, American Association of Clinical Oncology, European Association of Medical Oncology, Society of Translational Oncology and Spanish Society of Medical Oncology among others.
