Dr Balaji Zacharia is presently working as Associate professor Dept. of Orthopaedics Govt. Medical college Kozhikkode , Kerala , India under KUHS. He completed his MS ortho from same institution in 2002. Thereafter he worked as senior lecturer, Assistant professor in various government medical colleges in kerala. He is also a research guide in Kerala university of health science (KUHS). His main areas of interest are bone and joint infections, spine surgery, trauma, and arthroplasty. He has few publications in spinal tuberculosis, ochronosis, gorhsms disease, tendon injuries.He is presently doing some researches in fractures of lower end radius, rotator cuff tendinitis , anterior surgery in scoliosis and fracture neck of femur . He is also a reviewer in few national and international journals.
His main areas of interest are bone and joint infections, spine surgery, trauma, and arthroplasty.
