Abstract :

Over the past few years, techniques have been developed that seem to advance research in plant science and exploitation. From the knowledge gained in the production of new products, have a lot to offer. The first field of new, related solutions By manipulating and then culturing cells, tissues, organs and uncoated plant cells (protoplasts) in tissue culture The second field is genetic engineering or new DNA technology, the starting point of which is research on microorganisms. It has been and it has progressed very fast. With genetic engineering, scientists have more precise methods for breeding domestic animals and plants They have superior crops. This technology allows precise manipulation of genes. In recent years, these two areas of Research is linked to general biotechnology and, by providing the precise manipulation of genetic material, the ability to Used in many species of plants. New DNA synthesis techniques and gene cloning techniques Has been. Using this technology, it is possible to separate a piece of DNA and examine its properties by cloning DNA sequences in bacterial cells, these sequences can be amplified in large quantities for analysis. Recombinant DNA technology, in addition to providing basic information about gene structure and expression, position and opportunity for manipulation Provides genetic material and the exchange of these materials between different organisms. Modern biotechnology is a method of gene transfer Combine the organisms in vitro using new DNA techniques as well as melt protoplasts of different species. The term genetic engineering refers to a number of new techniques related to the transfer of specific genetic information from one organism to another.
