Abstract :

The aim of presentation studied to find out the major role of medical specialist in the main field of oncology, modern techniques of the cancer diagnostic testing in the world. Oncology is the study of cancer which is a group of more than 100 different diseases. It can develop almost anywhere in the body. An oncologist is a medical specialist who treats cancer and manages the patient care once a diagnosis is made of the same. The main field of oncology has three major areas such as medical, surgical, and radiation, therefore the oncologists consist of a medical oncologist treats cancer using chemotherapy or other medications, such as targeted therapy. The second is surgical oncologist which deals removal of tumor and nearby tissue during a surgery as well as ascertains diagnosis with carrying our certain biopsies. The third is radiation oncologist treats cancer using radiation therapy. Other types of oncologists include a gynecologic oncologist which treats gynecologic cancers; a pediatric oncologist treats cancer in children. Diagnostic testing involves tests and procedures to confirm the presence of disease and identify the correct tumor type, location, extent and stage. The modern techniques of diagnostics testing are a review of health history, Physical examination, Laboratory tests (blood, urine, etc.), Biopsy, Imaging tests (X-ray, PET/CT, MRI, ultrasound, etc.), Nuclear medicine scans (bone scans, etc.), Endoscopy Genetic tests, Diagnostics plays an important role throughout the cancer treatment. Keeping in view the above study to control the most dangerous disease of cancer, it is proposed to commercialize the major role of medical specialist in the main field of oncology and modern techniques of cancer diagnostic testing in the world.
