Wireless Networking Review Articles

Wireless communication technology is a present day option to conventional wired networking. Where wired networks depends on cables to connect digital devices together, wireless networks depends on wireless technologies.

A large number of technologies have been developed to support wireless networks in different scenarios.

Consumer wireless technologies include Wi-Fi, which is particularly popular in home networks and as a wireless access point technology. Bluetooth, for low energy and integrated applications. 5G, 4G and 3G cellular internet. Wireless home automation standards like ZigBee and Z-Wave.

More technologies still under development, But possibly to play a  key role in the wireless networks of the future; include 5G cellular internet and visible light Li-Fi communication.

Conventional forms of Internet service depends on telephone lines, cable television lines and fiber optic cables. While the underlying core of the Internet remains wired, several alternative forms of Internet technology use wireless to connect homes and businesses.

There are, for example, wireless Internet services such as public Wi-Fi networks for wireless access when you are not at home, fixed broadband for wireless Internet access at home, Internet by satellite and others.
